It is 2 years since the Vintage Club in Foz do Arelho first opened and during that time it has become one of our most regular haunts.
Whether it's the delicious homemade cakes in the café, the fantastic Tapas in the restaurant next door or a late night boogy in the bar upstairs we rarely leave disappointed.
In addition to tasty snacks such as tuna wraps, Ham and Cheese tosties and fresh croissants etc the cafe also has a large selection of quality English and International teas, an unusual but welcome feature in Portugal.
The outside seating and proximity to the band stand and old well pump makes it perfect for families enjoying their Portuguese Holiday with children who love playing outdoors.
The restaurant serves a very wide range of high quality Tapas, including Chorizo, delicious Morcela (black pudding) , cheeses, hams and seafood. There is also a substantial selection of more traditional main courses including T bone steaks, Bacalhau and pasta dishes.
There are usually around a dozen wines available by the glass and also a delicious Galician beer called 1906 available on draught.
The staff are very professional and friendly and owners Americo and Silvia are frequently around keeping an eye on things. The decor is very tastful and the bar upstairs opens late during the Summer for those who want to party after their meal. They also throw the best Halloween and Summer parties around!
